Industrial Oil Skimming and

Containment Systems Accessories

Industrial Custom Fabricated Hoses
SkimOIL’s St. Louis hose fabrication shop specializes in making industrial hose assemblies consisting of rubber, plastic, metal, teflon, and composite materials to meet your specific needs. With every connector, coupler, fitting and swivel known to man we offer custom fabrications of all hoses, including stainless steel braided hoses with welded connectors.

In addition to our custom fabricated hoses, SkimOIL also provides hose floats as well as custom manifolds and flotation.

Industrial Pumps

In the oil skimmer and oily water separator business pumps are used a lot. Regular pumps can sometimes work but we’ve found that with oil skimmers especially there’s ALWAYS a lot of junk in the oil that can screw up a regular off-the-shelf pump. Trash happens, always! And is usually found in oil needing to be skimmed. Choose from AOD Air Operated Diaphragm Pumps, Electric Diaphragm Pump or Heavy Duty Submersible Sump Pumps. See also our OilSmart Sump Pump switch that can operate any pump up to 1HP at 110V and prevent you from pumping oil into the environment.

Containment Boom, Pumps and Industrial Hoses

Diesel Fuel Purifier
DIESEL FUEL PURIFIER. The Fuel Purifier is a unique filterless filter or separator that simply and effectively removes 90+ % of free water and over 98% of dirt, particulates and junk they are heavier than the fuel…..no replacement media-ever.No moving parts/lasts forever/. Protects your primary filters- making them last longer

SkimOil’s TheFuelPurifier is a simple one step unit that removes 99.9% water and 95% to 98% of dust, dirt, and other normal and natural contaminates found in all diesel fuel. Even today’s “clean” diesel fuel will easily become contaminated during transportation and storage.

Containment Boom and Systems
Floating containment boom is manufactured from a variety of extremely durable, flexible thermoplastic fabrics. These fabrics are dielectrically sealed to form enclosures for flotation logs and for the galvanized chain ballast that also serves as a tension member. A skirt that extends below the surface of the water provides a flexible floating barrier. cover everything from small bodies of water where no prevailing winds or currents will prevent removal, to large lakes, bays, or harbors, where winds create significant waves, and where there are currents and tidal flows.
