Moon Pool Oil Skimmer

Our Moon pool skimmer and separator systems can keep you in compliance. These are usually relatively low flow dedicated systems including our Floating Weir Skimmers, hose sets and our BRUTE marine oil water separator which meets all IMO ? MEPC 107 (49) requirements. In operation you would merely need to set the skimmer with hose attached onto the water surface and start/turn on the BRUTE separator. This system will skim / remove the surface water containg the oils and run it thru the separator which retains the oil, letting the water go back into the moon pool or overboard……free of oil. The oil content monitor will keep a running log of all your discharges and keep you in a safe “no oil overboard” mode.
